forget about it.

k. funny story about this one.
picked it up before we went to jamaica. started reading it and put it down for some reason.
when i finally picked it up again, i couldn't remember reading it. was strange because at times i totally knew what was coming. then i was like, 'wait... did i read the whole book and just forget?' crap, that's no good.
the kicker... the book is about amnesia.
i finally found the spot where i had stopped and i am not a complete moron who reads the same book twice in a few months... phew!
super cute book. twist that wasn't expected. not sure why. i normally pick up on those things. i am now a for sure, caprice crane fan!

stupid and contagious

this one had me at the cover. not sure why... the color combos? the covered up faces? the arrow? i don't know.
picked it up after reading another of her books... forget about it.
loved it from the get go. a different style of writing. each chapter alternates views of the main character. a tad confusing, but neat nonetheless. yeah, i wrote neat.
loved the female character. she was a hoot. can totally picture myself making some of her wise ass comments.
glad i stumbled upon her first book.
so keeping my eyes open for more!

ex and the single girl.

not sure how i found out about this one. sometimes i go to amazon and type in a book i like. then i see what other people have purchased in addition to that book.
oh wait, i remember. the author made a comment on one of the books i've read recently. and the title was pretty catchy, so onto the library list it went.
really cute. a bit crazed at time. but i'm sure it was supposed to be that way.
will be adding this author to my list of 'to be watched!'

agnes and the hitman

yeah, wasn't sure about this one. but i needed something to pass the time since i finished my other book and my requested titles weren't available yet.
looked interesting enough. i mean bullet holes and flamingos on a cover. how can you go wrong?
have to say i really enjoyed it. could hardly put it down at the end because i really wanted to find out all the twists and turns and see how it ended!
would totally suggest it to anyone! and i'm definitely going to check out the other book that these two authors wrote together.

fourth comings

i swear, i never know when the next book is being released. just happen to stumble upon them as i walk the aisles in the library. does a library have aisles? that sounds funny. anywho.
just what i would have expected as a follow up for the series. well, there were a few twists and turns that i wasn't exactly expecting.
hoping the 5th is out soon! can surprise me in the library anytime!

queen of babble in the big city.

wow. that seems tiny.
anywho. was super excited when i stumbled upon this sequel in the library. i had no clue there was a second one!
loved the first one. i tend to be a gossip monger/babbler, so i can relate at times.
have to say that this one had a twist at the end that i wasn't exactly expecting. and when it happened the darn author ended the book. wtf mate? i'm hoping this means there were be a third in this series!

my nerdy valentine.

so i totally should have read the back cover before picking this up from the library. or at least read it before i just dove right in.
lots of vibrators and sex in the minute. was a bit freaked out. so not expecting that!
once i got past all that, it was a really cute book.
apparently, this author has a nerd series. excellent.
will most definitely be checking them out.

the pink ghetto

the first book that i read of one of my 'new' authors. totally doubted myself... really? a book called pink ghetto? are you sure shan?
yup. darn good.
will definitely be reading more of her.
long book. 350ish pages. but a slow read. not those quick james patterson ones...
really interesting twists. and with it taking so long to read, i didn't find myself getting bored with it. hoping for it to end. i was actually trying to sneak reading time in, so i could read more and finish!
looking forward to my next liz ireland read!

passion, betrayal, and killer highlights.

was actually the book i was least excited to read after my last visit to the library. funny because it was my favorite of the bunch.
a crazy murder mystery. the different characters really cracked me up. didn't realize it was a series. will go back and read the first one soon.

this christmas

was a little miffed when i first started reading this one. didn't realize it was three short stories.
was pleasantly surprised that i enjoyed them all.
looking forward to checking out the other authors. actually picked up a book from the library by liz ireland today. so we'll see if she can keep me entertained!
